An alumnus of the International Center of Photography, New York and a former Features Writer at the Better Photography magazine, Sakshi has now been working on a book that talks about the unspoken struggles of motherhood. Her work has been published on various platforms such as Verve, Vogue Italia, The Hindu, The Print Swap, Inspiro India, Indian Photo Concept and so on.

Her work and her ideas seek inspiration from several photographers like, Edward Steichen, Steven Meisel, Inez and Vinoodh, Peter Lindbergh, Elinor Carucci, Cig Harvey. Sakshi’s mantra is based on artist, John Baldessari’s quote, “I will not make any more boring art.”
